This month is all about getting started with oboloo. New sign-ups now get a guided, AI-powered setup and a fully populated platform to explore from day one. On top of that, we've added supplier sanctions screening, strengthened platform security, and shipped a batch of enhancements across the product.

Added peace of mind every time you take on a new supplier.
New to oboloo? A brand-new setup wizard now walks you through getting started the moment you sign up, and does the heavy lifting for you.
Signing up no longer means staring at empty tables.
Behind the scenes, we've continued to invest heavily in keeping your data safe.

Ask questions about your own suppliers, contracts, documents, sourcing and savings in plain English, right inside oboloo.
…and more on the way. 🚀
This release is all about a great first impression. From an AI-guided setup and a platform you can explore from the moment you sign up, to sanctions screening and stronger security behind the scenes, oboloo is easier to get started with than ever.
At oboloo, our roadmap isn't driven by us—it's driven by you. Almost every update in this release, from the guided setup wizard to demo data and sanctions checks, started as a suggestion from our user community.
Thank you for your continued contribution and for helping us shape the future of procurement. Please keep the feedback coming via our feedback page or the in-app chat!
This month, oboloo starts doing more of the work for you. Automated supplier onboarding and automated document renewals take repetitive chasing off your plate, while smarter AI summaries and a batch of eSourcing improvements make everyday tasks faster. Add in more quick-add shortcuts and there's plenty to get stuck into.
Getting a supplier set up is now faster and smarter. When a supplier enters onboarding, oboloo recommends the right package and recipient so you can send it in a couple of clicks.

oboloo can now chase expiring documents for you, across both supplier and contract records.

Within a sourcing activity, you can now tell suppliers exactly which documents to upload — insurances, certificates, RFP responses and more.
Building pricing into a sourcing activity is far quicker.

Get all your sourcing questionnaire responses in one place.
Mentions are now easier to spot and act on.

Your AI summaries just got more complete.
Create new values without leaving your flow, now in more places.
As soon as you enter or edit a supplier's name, oboloo will check it against published UK and UN sanctions lists and flag any match — with a clear warning on the supplier's profile, a live indicator as you type, and a new optional column on your supplier and compliance tables — so you can review before you transact.
Your data's security is never something we stand still on. Several times a year, we run a comprehensive, deep-dive assessment across our entire database infrastructure — rigorously testing every layer for vulnerabilities and hardening it against emerging threats. It's a major, ongoing part of our commitment to keeping your information safe.
New to oboloo? A guided setup will configure the platform around the modules you want to use — creating starter configuration like document types and scorecards for you, and even onboarding your first supplier if you'd like — so you're up and running in minutes.
New accounts will open pre-populated with realistic sample records, so you can explore a fully working platform instead of empty tables. Everything is clearly marked as Demo, and when you're ready to work for real, you can remove it all in a single click — your own records are always kept.
The main Supplier, Contract and Savings tables will show draft and unapproved records by default, so you see the full picture the moment a page loads.
This release is all about letting oboloo do more of the heavy lifting. From automated onboarding and document renewals to smarter AI summaries and faster eSourcing, these updates take repetitive work off your plate and give you more time for the decisions that matter.

This is one of our biggest releases yet. Leading the way is Latest Activity — a brand-new, timeline-style view of everything that happens on a record. Alongside it, you now have record-level access controls, the ability to edit sourcing activities when reopening them, a primary contact for every supplier, and a whole batch of productivity upgrades, from quick-add shortcuts across the platform to new exports, filters and smarter default views.
Our biggest upgrade to record pages yet. We've replaced the Notes and Recent Notifications cards on your Supplier, Contract, Sourcing and Savings records with Latest Activity — a single timeline of everything that happens on a record.

Take control of who can see and change individual records — a standardised, opt-in setting across all four modules.

You can now make changes to a sourcing activity as part of reopening it.

Designate a primary contact for each supplier
Create new values on the fly, without breaking your flow.
Our AI insights will soon be able to draw on everything captured in Latest Activity — notes, calls, meetings, emails and more — across all four modules, for richer, more informed summaries and suggestions.
The eSourcing pricing step when creating a new sourcing activity will become a grid you can paste line items straight into from Excel or Google Sheets — no more typing them in one by one.
A new setup step lets you review and confirm the recommended onboarding package and recipient before onboarding starts, based on the supplier's industry. This will enable faster and lighter touch supplier onboarding.
The start of a bigger push into supplier compliance and onboarding automation: oboloo will automatically contact suppliers before their approved documents expire, send follow-up reminders, and track replacements through approval — across both supplier and contract documents.
A new Request Documents step in the sourcing wizard will let you tell suppliers exactly which documents to upload, with submission blocked until they’re provided.
This release is all about doing more, in fewer clicks. From the new Latest Activity timeline and record-level access controls to quick-add shortcuts, new exports and smarter defaults, oboloo continues to evolve around how you work — giving you more visibility, more control, and a faster path to getting things done.

Following last month's launch for supplier and contract records, AI-generated summaries are now available across more of your work.
Contract Management now has its own dedicated compliance view, mirroring Supplier Compliance for your contracts.
Your Supplier and Contract Compliance tables are now interactive — every cell tells you a document's status and lets you act on it instantly.
Savings Management now includes a dedicated reporting view for milestones across all of your initiatives.
Each scorecard tab now opens with an interactive trend chart, so you can see how a supplier's performance is moving over time.
The Supplier Onboarding page now leads with a clear month-by-month view of your onboarding pipeline.
We've reformatted tables and refined the interface across eSourcing records, with several targeted upgrades to make analysis and supplier evaluation faster and clearer.
It's now easier to work with suppliers and their contacts directly from a sourcing record.
Your profile is now a richer home for everything you're responsible for.
Contract imports are more flexible, and templates are now on hand to get you started faster.
Contacts who work across more than one supplier can now be added to each.
Our biggest upgrade to record pages yet. We're replacing the separate Notes and Recent Notifications cards with Latest Activity: a single, Salesforce-style timeline that captures everything that happens on a record.
Take control of who can see and change individual records — a standardised, opt-in setting built once and applied consistently across all four modules.
Designate a primary contact for each supplier — the groundwork for automated onboarding and compliance requests further down the line.

This month marks a massive leap forward for oboloo. From a complete security overhaul to granular financial controls and the first look at our AI roadmap, we are setting the stage for a smarter, more secure procurement future.
We have concluded a comprehensive security audit across all internal systems and third-party services used by oboloo. This ensures that as we scale and introduce AI features, your data remains protected by the highest industry standards for encryption, resilience, and access control.
✅ Milestone-Level Savings Approvals (Savings Management) - We’ve added a new layer of financial control. You can now require approval for individual milestones as they are realized.
🚀 Advanced "Smart-Start" Data Imports We’ve overhauled the import process to eliminate the "pre-configuration" headache.
🔄 Flexible Sourcing & Email Transparency

📑 Record Metadata & History
🤖 April 2026: The AI Proof of Concept Next month, we are hitting a massive milestone. We are releasing our first AI Proof of Concept on our staging servers for internal and invited testing. Our AI agents and core features have been built and are currently being fine-tuned to ensure they provide the most accurate procurement insights in the industry.
🌟 May 2026: The AI Revolution Launches Get ready for a total platform transformation. In May, we expect to release a whole range of AI-powered tools to all end users. This isn't just a small update—it’s a complete overhaul of how you interact with your data. Expect:
📑 Contract Flexibility & Import Updates
📅 Recurring Custom Notifications We are introducing "Set it and Forget it" reminders. You will soon be able to set custom notifications to repeat Monthly, Quarterly, or Annually. Whether it's a recurring compliance check or a periodic performance review, oboloo will handle the scheduling for you across all modules.
📤 Advanced Import Mapping (Standard & Custom Fields)
📧 Sourcing Invite Transparency We are adding an Email Invite Status indicator (Delivered vs. Delivery Failed) to the sourcing contact modal. You’ll never have to wonder if a supplier received their invitation again—you’ll see the real-time delivery status directly from SendGrid in your dashboard.
🏷️ Multi-Value selection for Categories & Industries We are working to unlock the ability to select multiple values for Category, Sub-Category, Industry, and Sub-Industry against a single record. No more being forced to choose just one—your data will finally reflect the complexity of your suppliers and contracts.
At oboloo, our roadmap isn't driven by us—it's driven by you. Almost every update in this release, from the full-screen tables to the sourcing flexibility, started as a suggestion from our user community.

This month we’ve focused on giving you more flexibility within sourcing activities, deeper visibility into your savings data, and launching several new ways for you to interact with the oboloo team and help shape our future.
🔄 Flexible Sourcing Invitations You are no longer locked into your initial supplier list once a sourcing activity is created.
🗺️ Enhanced Visualizations & Full-Screen Mode We’ve upgraded how you interact with your data charts:
💬 New Support & Feedback Ecosystem We’ve launched three new ways to stay connected:
📈 Savings & Milestone Management
🔍 Search & Collaboration
✅ Milestone-Level Approvals Based on user requests, we are building a more granular approval workflow. Soon, you will be able to require specific sign-offs for individual milestones as they are completed, rather than just approving the initial savings record.
🚀 Streamlined Data Imports We are working on an "Easy-Start" import tool that allows new users to upload supplier and contract data while skipping non-essential mandatory fields, making it faster than ever to get your data into oboloo.
📅 Record Metadata We will be adding "Created On" and "Created By" fields to the summary cards of all records (Suppliers, Contracts, and Sourcing) to match the Savings module, ensuring you always know who initiated a record.
🖥️ Expanded Visualizations Following the success of our graph updates this month, we will be rolling out Full-Screen mode to all remaining charts across the platform. We are also upgrading these charts to allow for additional data axis points, so you can visualize more locations, categories, and departments simultaneously without the "Top 5" restriction.
🖼️ Automatic Supplier Branding & UI We will be moving the "Company Website" field under the supplier records to the left-hand summary card and adding it to the initial supplier creation flow.

📤 Export Supplier Onboarding Table to CSV
You can now export onboarding data directly from the Supplier Onboarding dashboard.
✅ New Export button added
✅ Permissions controlled via role matrix (enabled for Admins by default)
🔕 Stop Notice Period Alerts Once Notice Given
If a contract has had notice officially marked, the system will no longer send alerts to owners or the “Managed By” user about upcoming notice periods:
• Contract notice period is in 30 days
• Contract notice period is in 7 days
🪲 Incorrect Pagination on Scoring Management Tab
Fixed an issue where the number of records listed in pagination was incorrect on the Scoring Management Overview table.

This is just the beginning. oboloo AI is built to save you time, surface insights, and help you work smarter — without ever replacing your control.
☁️ Migration to Microsoft Azure
We’re moving to Azure to improve speed, security, scalability, and enable new AI services across the platform.
🌐 Automatic Supplier Logos
When a supplier’s website field is populated, oboloo will automatically fetch their logo. Saves time and keeps your data looking clean and consistent.
📦 Onboard Existing Suppliers
You’ll soon be able to run onboarding workflows for existing suppliers—not just new ones—making it easier to gather compliance documents and information updates.
Thank you for helping shape oboloo. Your feedback continues to drive our roadmap forward, and we’re proud to build a platform that evolves with you.
This month’s release is all about giving you more control and flexibility across the platform. From custom tabs and dropdown fields to reusable onboarding packages and smarter filters, we’ve made big steps forward in how you organise and action your data.
🔖 Custom Tabs for Structuring Custom Fields
Users can now create Custom Tabs within Supplier, Contract, and Savings records to group related custom fields into clearly labelled sections (e.g. “Insurance Info”, “IT Compliance”). These tabs appear in the record view before the “Custom Notifications” tabs and can be selected during custom field setup via a new “Area of Placement” dropdown.

👁️ Dropdown Field Type in Custom Fields
We've added a new “Dropdown” type to custom fields, allowing users to define selectable options (e.g. Pending, Approved, Rejected). Dropdowns are fully editable—values can be added or removed later. Historical values remain viewable on old records even if deprecated.

🧩 Reorder Custom Fields Per Module Section
Users can now drag and drop custom fields into the desired display order within each section of a module (e.g. “Supplier > Summary”). This layout is shared across records and improves readability. Permission-based access is controlled via a new “Reorder Custom Fields” toggle in Roles.

📦 Reusable Supplier Onboarding Packages
A new “Onboarding Packages” submodule has been added under Supplier Management. Create reusable bundles of document and scorecard requests (e.g. “IT Supplier Package”) that can be applied when onboarding a new supplier. Save time by standardising the onboarding process per supplier type.
📨 New Email: Supplier Submission Confirmations
All invited supplier contacts will now receive a confirmation email once a sourcing response is submitted on behalf of their company. This keeps all parties in the loop automatically.
📅 New Notifications for Sourcing Activities
Suppliers now receive:
💡 User-Guiding Text & Subheadings
We’ve added helpful subheadings and descriptions to tables and pop-ups throughout oboloo. These are fully translatable into all 18 supported languages, making the platform easier to navigate globally.
⚠️ Document Expiry Indicator in Compliance Table
If a supplier document is approved but has since expired, a red “Expired” button will now be shown on the supplier compliance table. This makes expired documents easy to identify at a glance.
📉 Improved Filtering Logic for Contract Dashboards
Graphs like “Contracts Expiring or with Notice Periods” now respect exact start and end dates—not just the whole month—providing more accurate visual reporting.
📊 Metric Filters Working with Dashboard Date Filters
Metrics now fully respect all dashboard filters, including the start and end date fields. This creates a consistent and predictable experience across all reporting visuals.
📋 Modal Tables Now Respond to Filters
If you’ve applied filters on the Supplier, Contract, or Savings dashboards, these will now apply to the records shown in pop-up modals as well. No more confusion from seeing unfiltered results mid-workflow.
🪲 Error When Switching from Savings to Contracts
Fixed a bug that showed an error when returning to a contract after viewing a related savings record.
🔗 Create Contracts Directly from Sourcing Activities
After awarding a supplier, users will be able to create a new linked contract directly from the sourcing summary. Key sourcing fields will be auto-mapped into the new contract form.
🧾 Subheadings for Custom Tabs
When creating or editing custom tabs, users will be able to add short subheadings (max 250 characters) for extra context within the record view.
📑 Reorder Custom Fields Within Custom Tabs
We’re extending field ordering to within custom tabs. This will allow you to structure each section precisely the way you want it.
🔕 Stop Contract Notifications When Notice is Given
Once notice has been marked on a contract, system alerts about upcoming notice periods (e.g. 30 days, 7 days) will automatically stop.
👤 New ‘Managed By’ Field for Supplier Records
Assign an owner to each supplier with a new “Managed By” field—just like contracts. Dashboard filters and compliance views will also support this for better visibility.
🔎 Onboarding Owner Filter
The Supplier Onboarding dashboard now includes a filter for “Onboarding Owner” to help manage ownership of onboarding tasks more easily.
📬 Email Notifications for Cancelled Supplier Requests
When a document or scorecard request is cancelled (supplier or contract), the relevant contact will now be notified by email. This applies to all modules.
