We have concluded a comprehensive security audit across all internal systems and third-party services used by oboloo. This ensures that as we scale and introduce AI features, your data remains protected by the highest industry standards for encryption, resilience, and access control.

✅ Milestone-Level Savings Approvals (Savings Management) - We’ve added a new layer of financial control. You can now require approval for individual milestones as they are realized.

• Granular Control: When marking a milestone as complete, choose to send it to a specific approver.
• Financial Accuracy: Realized totals on your dashboard now only include "Completed" milestones—anything "Pending" or "Rejected" is excluded from your totals until fully signed off.

🚀 Advanced "Smart-Start" Data Imports We’ve overhauled the import process to eliminate the "pre-configuration" headache.

• Auto-Create Missing Values: Our new "Fix & Re-validate" tool detects values in your CSV (like a new Location or Category) that don't exist in oboloo and creates them for you automatically during the import.

🔄 Flexible Sourcing & Email Transparency

• Dynamic Invitations: You are no longer locked into your supplier list post-creation. Forgot to include a supplier when creating a tender? No problem. You can now add new suppliers or contacts to active events at any time.

🛠️ Improvements & Bug Fixes

🎯 Intelligent Filter Dropdowns Filters across all four main modules now only show values that are actually in use. If you have 100 categories but only 10 are assigned to contracts, your dropdown will only show those 10.

📊 Enhanced Data Visualizations

• Full-Screen Mode: Now rolled out to all remaining charts, including "Suppliers with Contracts by Industry."
• Smart X-Axis: Graphs now automatically hide categories/locations with zero or null data to keep your insights clutter-free.

📑 Record Metadata & History

• Created By/On Tracking: We have added "Created By" and "Created On" fields to the summary cards of all records across all four main modules.

🐞 Bug Fixes

• Critical Stability Fix We have implemented global frontend fail-safes and fallback timeouts to resolve the "infinite loading spinner" issue some users experienced during login.

🤖 April 2026: The AI Proof of Concept Next month, we are hitting a massive milestone. We are releasing our first AI Proof of Concept on our staging servers for internal and invited testing. Our AI agents and core features have been built and are currently being fine-tuned to ensure they provide the most accurate procurement insights in the industry.

🌟 May 2026: The AI Revolution Launches Get ready for a total platform transformation. In May, we expect to release a whole range of AI-powered tools to all end users. This isn't just a small update—it’s a complete overhaul of how you interact with your data. Expect:

• Intelligent Copilot: Chat naturally with your database to trigger actions and pull reports.
• Automated Record Analysis: Instant summaries and risk assessments for every contract.
• Proactive "Today View": An AI assistant that tells you exactly what needs your attention before it becomes a problem.

📑 Contract Flexibility & Import Updates

• Change Supplier on Records: Soon, you will no longer be locked into a supplier once a contract is created. We are enabling the ability to update/change the supplier linked to an existing contract record.
• Optional Import Fields: We are making the Supplier field optional during the contract import process to give you more flexibility when migrating messy data.

📅 Recurring Custom Notifications We are introducing "Set it and Forget it" reminders. You will soon be able to set custom notifications to repeat Monthly, Quarterly, or Annually. Whether it's a recurring compliance check or a periodic performance review, oboloo will handle the scheduling for you across all modules.

📤 Advanced Import Mapping (Standard & Custom Fields)

• New Mapping Fields: We are adding Website, Contact Position, Phone Number, Location, and Managed By as selectable fields in the supplier import tool.
• Custom Field Imports: For the first time, you will be able to map CSV columns directly to your Custom Fields during the import process. If you’ve built bespoke data points in oboloo, you’ll finally be able to populate them in bulk.

📧 Sourcing Invite Transparency We are adding an Email Invite Status indicator (Delivered vs. Delivery Failed) to the sourcing contact modal. You’ll never have to wonder if a supplier received their invitation again—you’ll see the real-time delivery status directly from SendGrid in your dashboard.

🏷️ Multi-Value selection for Categories & Industries We are working to unlock the ability to select multiple values for Category, Sub-Category, Industry, and Sub-Industry against a single record. No more being forced to choose just one—your data will finally reflect the complexity of your suppliers and contracts.
