This is one of our biggest releases yet. Leading the way is Latest Activity — a brand-new, timeline-style view of everything that happens on a record. Alongside it, you now have record-level access controls, the ability to edit sourcing activities when reopening them, a primary contact for every supplier, and a whole batch of productivity upgrades, from quick-add shortcuts across the platform to new exports, filters and smarter default views.

🗂️ Latest Activity

Our biggest upgrade to record pages yet. We've replaced the Notes and Recent Notifications cards on your Supplier, Contract, Sourcing and Savings records with Latest Activity — a single timeline of everything that happens on a record.

• One chronological feed of everything on a record, replacing the separate Notes and Recent Notifications cards
• Log Notes, Emails, Calls, Meetings, Tasks and Documents, each with its own quick form
• Assign Tasks with due dates and automatic emails when they're assigned and completed
• Paste in email threads and meeting transcripts as searchable text, and @mention record owners in notes
• System events like approvals and status changes appear automatically
• Filter by activity type, expand to full screen, and see who did what at a glance
• The tab is now called Latest Activity across all modules (eSourcing tab name remains 'Overview')

🔒 Record-Level Access

Take control of who can see and change individual records — a standardised, opt-in setting across all four modules.

• Set one of three access levels on any record: open to everyone, view-all with owner-only editing, or owners-only
• View-restricted records are hidden from tables for non-owners, while still counting towards your dashboard totals
• A clear lock icon flags read-only records, and administrators always keep full access

🔄 Reopen & Edit Sourcing Activities

You can now make changes to a sourcing activity as part of reopening it.

• Add or remove sections, questions, documents or pricing before resending to suppliers
• Step back through the eSourcing wizard, prepopulated with the activity's existing content
• The original round stays untouched until you finish, and a clear confirmation summarises what suppliers need to know
• The reopen button is now labelled Reopen/Edit

⭐ Primary Supplier Contact

Designate a primary contact for each supplier

• Mark any contact as primary when creating or editing them
• The primary contact is clearly flagged with a green tick and always listed first in the supplier contacts table
• Every supplier always has exactly one primary contact

⚡ Quick Add Across oboloo

Create new values on the fly, without breaking your flow.

• Add new categories, types, currencies, suppliers, contacts and more directly from the dropdowns while creating or editing records
• Available across Contract, Supplier, Savings and eSourcing records
• Respects your existing access rights, so quick-add only appears where you're permitted to create

📤 eSourcing Export

• A new export option on the main eSourcing table
• Exports all records and columns within the table

🔍 Multi-Supplier Filtering

• New multi-select Suppliers filter on the Supplier Compliance table
• The same filter added to the Supplier Management home dashboard
• Filter by one or more suppliers at once to focus your view

👥 Minimum One Owner per Record

• Every record now keeps at least one owner at all times
• If you try to remove the last owner, oboloo prompts you to add another first
• Keeps records accessible and ready for owner-based features

📄 Smarter Default Views

• The main eSourcing table now shows Draft activities alongside Active ones by default
• The Savings Management dashboard now shows all savings records except archived ones by default

📋 Pastable Pricing Grid

The eSourcing pricing step when creating a new sourcing activity will become a grid you can paste line items straight into from Excel or Google Sheets — no more typing them in one by one.

📦 Guided Supplier Onboarding Setup

A new setup step lets you review and confirm the recommended onboarding package and recipient before onboarding starts, based on the supplier's industry. This will enable faster and lighter touch supplier onboarding.

⏰ Automated Document Renewals

The start of a bigger push into supplier compliance and onboarding automation: oboloo will automatically contact suppliers before their approved documents expire, send follow-up reminders, and track replacements through approval — across both supplier and contract documents.

📁 Request Documents from Suppliers

A new Request Documents step in the sourcing wizard will let you tell suppliers exactly which documents to upload, with submission blocked until they’re provided.

• A new Request Documents step in the sourcing wizard lets you specify the documents you need from every invited supplier, each with a type and clear instructions
• Requested documents appear directly in each supplier's response, alongside anything they choose to add themselves
• Suppliers can't submit until every requested document has been uploaded, so nothing gets missed
• On your Documents tab, you can now see which invited suppliers have opened each document you've shared
