We’re kicking off the new year with some major updates to oboloo, expanding integrations, improving financial reporting, and adding new ways to streamline notifications and supplier management. This release enhances automation, organization, and transparency across the platform.

1. Zapier Integration – Connect oboloo to Over 7,000 Apps!
oboloo now integrates with Zapier, allowing users to connect the platform with over 7,000 other applications, including procurement tools, CRMs, and finance software.
- Automate workflows, reduce manual data entry, and create seamless connections between oboloo and other business systems.

2. oboloo REST API – Custom and Seamless Integrations
We’re excited to announce the release of the oboloo REST API, enabling custom integrations with your internal systems.
- Users can now build tailored integrations for data synchronization, reporting, and automation.
- Available under Settings > API Access in the main menu.
3. Parent/Child Relationships for Contracts, Suppliers, and Savings Records
To enhance record organization, oboloo now supports Parent/Child Relationships for Contracts, Suppliers, and Savings records.
- Users can link related records across modules, improving structure and visibility.
- These relationships are also included in export files for better tracking and reporting.
4. Custom Notifications for Contracts, Suppliers, and Savings
Never miss an important update! Users can now create custom notifications within oboloo, ensuring critical reminders and updates are delivered to key stakeholders.
- Notifications can be scheduled for Contracts, Suppliers, and Savings records.
- Alerts are sent in-system and via email to relevant users.
- A new Custom Notifications tab allows users to manage upcoming and past notifications.
5. Additional Financial Fields in eSourcing
New financial data fields have been added to enhance pricing visibility during sourcing activities.
- New columns added:
- Discount – Now visible at the product level.
- Sub Total – Renamed from “Total Cost Excluding Tax.”
- Total Cost Including Discount, Shipping & Tax – New column reflecting comprehensive pricing details.
- Tax Amount (Excluding Tax on Shipping) – New column showing tax calculations per product.
- Tax Amount on Shipping – Separately tracks tax applied to shipping costs.
- Total Tax Amount – Sum of all applicable tax fields.
- Supplier Access to Pricing Modal – Suppliers can now view their submitted pricing even after submission (but cannot edit).

1. Brand-New Knowledge Base – Faster, Smarter, and More Interactive
We've completely revamped the oboloo Knowledge Base to make it easier and faster to find the support and guidance you need.
- The new search-friendly interface ensures users can quickly locate relevant guides.

- Accessible directly from the Help Center in the main menu.
2. Smart Search for Dropdown Fields
We've made a big usability improvement by adding a search function to dropdown menus across oboloo.
- Users can now quickly find and select options within dropdown lists by typing keywords, instead of manually scrolling through long lists.

- Users can access FAQs, best practices, and quick-start guides directly from the main menu.
4. API Authentication and Token Management
We’re introducing API authentication and automated token refresh within oboloo, allowing users to manage API access more effectively.
- Users will be able to create, manage, and refresh API keys under Settings > API Access.
- This update enhances security while making integrations more seamless.
5. Multi-Document Requests for Contracts
We’re expanding our multi-document request feature to the Contract module!
- Users will be able to request multiple documents in one action when working with suppliers.
- This mirrors the functionality currently available in Supplier Management, making document collection faster and more efficient.
6. ZIP File Uploads Across oboloo
Based on user feedback, we’re enabling ZIP file uploads across all areas of oboloo.
- Users will now be able to upload compressed ZIP files, making bulk document uploads easier.
- This ensures that large datasets and multiple documents can be added quickly without needing to upload files one by one.
7. Savings Record Owners & Automated Notifications
Users will soon be able to assign Savings Owners to savings records.
- Savings creators will have the option to assign multiple owners who will receive custom and automated notifications about the savings activity.
- This improves collaboration and ensures that the right stakeholders stay informed.
